There are many resorts with different type of feelings around the mid hill of Mount KK, some face one side of the mountain, whereas others may face the other sides of the mountain, but all are just as good. The weather is cool, sometimes may be a little cold. I have never tried to go to the top of Mount KK nor have I ever intended to climb it (not fond of height!), but from the many stories that I have heard about the challenging journey to the top. I thought I would rather relax myself in the cool breeze at the resorts…<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>The Golden Peak Resort (Tree-Top Houses)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This is an interesting resort. Each room is built from the support of a large tree. A large tree trunk can be seen in the middle of the room separating the beds. The temperature at night is about 15 degree, not bad, all you need is a long sleeve sweater to feel quite comfortable. The toilet is good, you do not feel the jungle once the toilet door is shut and there is hot water for a good wash before going into total darkness at mid-night!
\nAn experience of a night in the jungle probably like “Tarzan – the Jungle Man”.
\n<\/strong><\/em>All electrical lights were shut down at mid-night and remained in total darkness through out the night until dawn. There is of course a danger of colliding with the tree trunk at the middle of the room if one tries to move about in total darkness in the room. In darkness, there is only the continuous symphonic orchestra music rehearsing over and over by many insects until day break! Go to bed early would be the best idea! Do not forget that this is a jungle!<\/p>\n
