(fan of lightweight editors: nano and editra)<\/p>\n<h3><b>Installing Eclipse on Mac<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>First download Eclipse Classic from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eclipse.org\/downloads\/\">http:\/\/www.eclipse.org\/downloads\/<\/a><br \/>Unzip the file and drop the folder into your applications folder.<br \/>Launch &#8220;eclipse.app&#8221; from the app folder.<\/p>\n<h3>Setting up Eclipse on Mac<\/h3>\n<p>Go to Help &gt; Install New Software &gt; Add<br \/>Type in Android ADT and paste in this url:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><i>https:\/\/dl-ssl.google.com\/android\/eclipse\/<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Now to add Android SDK.<br \/>Goto and download the Mac SDK from: <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.android.com\/sdk\/index.html\">http:\/\/developer.android.com\/sdk <\/a><br \/>Unzip the file and place the folder in your user directory. (if you click your mac hdd, in places, you should see your login. There should be a android-sdks.
