Every cycle has 3 sections (\u8fd0) of 20 years.<br \/>Upper cycle: 1st 2nd 3rd<br \/>Middle cycle: 4th 5th 6th<br \/>Lower cycle: 7th 8th 9th<br \/>This year is from 2003 &#8211; 2023 which is the 8th section (Earth Gen Gua).
