Converting a hg mercurial to git repository

As I was digging up old project repos, I needed to move several mercurial repositories to git. ie. bitbucket to github.
There are a few ways of doing it

  • hg-fast-export
  • hg-git
  • git-remote-hg

Long story short, the final method was create a folder

> mkdir hgtogit
> git clone hg::/path/to/your/repo
